A Call for Volunteers From
Irene Szabla, Executive Director

BooksWith spring rapidly approaching, our thoughts are getting focused on those projects that we would like to complete before summer comes around. To that end, I am sending out an SOS for volunteers to help us with our library. We would like to get all of our books re-catalogued. Maggie Griffiths, our volunteer extra-ordinaire has headed this project up. Right now we are looking for about 5 volunteers to donate approximately 2 hours per week to get the books into our computer system. If you are able to help out, please contact me and I’ll put you to work ASAP!

And speaking of volunteers, we will soon be asking for new board members. Although the annual general meeting is not until June, our search for potential board members is an on-going activity. We have been very fortunate to have parents and other community members participate in the management of the Child Development Centre. If you’re interested in helping out in this capacity, I would love to hear from you.
