From My Window
Letter from Irene, Executive Director

What….. Christmas already? The fairs and bazaars are under way and parents are lining up to get the latest toys before the stores are out. Things have been hopping at the Child Development Centre, too. On November 20, we celebrated the International Day of the Child at the Yukon government building foyer. Almost 100 kids and adults turned up to paint their faces, play some games and eat cake and sandwiches.  We are off to a busy start. With over 450 children enrolled in various programs throughout the Yukon, we have been travelling, scheduling home visits and seeing lots of little ones in our offices on Lewes Boulevard. We have had some staff changes as well.

I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and may all your most precious wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2008 come true!
