Newsletter April 2008Change in Fee Schedule

There is good news for most Yukon families. Effective April 1, 2008 fees for children requiring physiotherapy, occupational, developmental or speech therapy will be waived. The Board of Directors of the Child Development Centre believe that families with children needing clinical supports should not be carrying the additional financial burden for such services.

 

Fees will still apply for services to families who reside outside of Yukon, and a nominal fee will be charged for the making of orthotics. Preschool fees for children who attend as peer models will continue as well.

 

The Board of Directors would like to remind families that the Child Development Centre is a non-profit organization. As such, families and individuals are welcome, at any time, to make donations in lieu of fees. Anyone making a contribution to the Child Development Centre will receive a tax deductible receipt.
