Therapeutic Integrated Preschool Program
This is a preschool for 3 and 4 year old children of all learning abilities. The program provides learning opportunities to enhance children’s skills in all areas of development. The children identified with special needs have individual program plans and receive support services from the therapists.
The preschool operates from Monday to Thursday and offers several activities throughout the two-and-a-half hour programme.
- Free Play includes dramatic play, a sensory activity, reading, a table-top activity, etc.
- Circle Time includes pre-literacy activities such as singing, finger play, and stories.
- Snack Time offers food from two food groups while sitting with a small peer group.
- Gym Time can include dancing, yoga, tricycle and scooter riding, and obstacle courses.
- Busy Baskets often includes a craft or fine-motor activity.
The preschool is a positive, play-based learning environment in which children of all abilities can thrive.
